The Winery at Bull Run
|
|
Travel back in time to an 1860's setting at our conveniently-located Fairfax County farm vineyard (closest to Washington DC). Come for a taste of fine wine - and stay awhile for the relaxing atmosphere and generous good times - in a historical setting that engenders Olde Virginia. The Winery at Bull Run is growing the Norton grape in the vineyard on our scenic 21-acre property - We have chosen the Norton variety not just because it is prized among wine lovers and has an intriguing history but because it is America's true native grape.

Norton
The blending of Norton with Cabernet Sauvignon creates a rich, robust, and balanced wine. The familiar nose of cherries and smoke is supported by extracted black fruit flavors and is encased by a bit of vanilla and spicy pepper. Finishing long, the firm tannins promise a long life in the bottle.

Rosé
Light berry aromas with hints of raspberry, strawberry, and cherry flavors make our Rosé a fabulous brunch wine. Enjoy this wine cool to emphasize its fruitiness or a bit colder to show off its crisper side.
