We craft fine spirits using local ingredients and age old distilling methods handed down from generations. Chris Prillaman, owner and master distiller is the great grandson of Walter (Peg) Hatcher whom was indicted in “The Great Conspiracy Trial of 1935.” Not only was he a descendent of past bootleggers but also grew up in the hills of Ferrum, VA surrounded by the art of making backwoods whiskey. To us, family and continuing a dying art is important and we consider these things with every craft spirit we create. It's a part of our story and we’ve even made this family heritage apart of our logo.
