Owners Gabe and Roseanna Magnotta started their winery in 1989 selling directly to consumers. Their wines have won over 700 medals, including the Black Diamond Trophy They are just one of many Canadian wineries that made the world stand up and take notice. Robert Henn is the winemaker. The Magnottas believe in good wine good food, good companionship and laughter. They have had a remarkable growth currently operating wineries at, Vaughan, Mississauga, Kitchener, Scarborough, and Beamsville. Theses are all franchises. The winery is know for its Vidal Icewine but it promises to release a VIN DE GLACE Eau de Vie which they call the most expensive ever produced without aging.
