1999 was an outstanding vintage in Oregon due to a very long growing season. Our assessment was that the wines would age very nicely and we set aside a few hundred cases of Pinot Noir Pierre Leon with the intent of re-releasing them later when they had matured. That time has now come, as we think that the wines are at their best.
