The Trail’s Edge family joined together on a mission to provide the community with a few of their favorite things: craft beer, artisanal food and great local entertainment. Sip a fine craft beer, sample the special of the day, enjoy live music, or host a family gathering where generations of people have passed through at the site of Frankfort’s first hotel and livery built in 1855.
Trail’s Edge channels antiquated charm through materials salvaged from the region’s agricultural and industrial heritage. Hand-hewn beams and wooden walls reclaimed from barns of the Midwest, light fixtures, tables and architectural pieces carefully salvaged from factories from Chicago to Milwaukee, and antiques that harken back to Frankfort’s past as a quaint stop along the Old Plank Trail.
