Our Gris is more stylistically allied with its Alsatian cousin than its Italian (Pinot Grigio) relative. Fifteen percent sur lie fermentation in neutral French oak imparts a roundness in the mouth that the more austere Grigios lack. Now the acknowledged partner with salmon out on the west coast, this Gris¹ acidity and sparkling flavors enhance meals from Chinese tea smoked quail to linguine with clam sauce.

Immediate aromas of bright cherry, toast and dried flowers combine with undertones of herb and spice. Cherry, berry and spice flavors combine with a complexity usually found in reserve bottlings. The subtlety of the 04 growing season shines through this wine like a hubcap diamond-star halo.

This muscular Über-pinot begins with rich aromas of dark cherry and vine. Gripping tannins and balanced acidity provide a stunning textural winescape into which multiple layers of concentrated fruit and spice seamlessly meld and linger.

Don’t believe what they say about the 2003 vintage. Here at Territorial, it was a phenomenal year with great color, depth, acidity and balance: Just because you can get your pinot to 26 Brix in a given year doesn’t mean you ought to. The 03 Stone’s Throw surpasses the reputation established by the previous vintage with rich and ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors braced with a complexity of acidity normally associated with cooler years.

Vinified in the traditional style, this off-dry Riesling opens with gorgeous aromas of dried flower, spice honey and candied apricot. Luxurious and full in the mouth, but with the acidity to balance nearly 3% residual sugar.

Dry. Immediate room-filling aromas of grapefruit, tangerine and rose petal, followed by crisp fruit flavors and a pleasing, palate-cleansing acidity. Great on its own as a chilled, summer afternoon quaff, and a wonderful food companion.
