In 1997, Moe and Flora Momtazi purchased an abandoned wheat farm in the foothills southwest of McMinnville, Oregon. Their interest was to farm Pinot Noir grapes, and to do it organically. In March 1998, the first three vineyard blocks were planted with self-rooted Pommard Clone Pinot Noir vines. In early spring 1999, over 120,000 plants were grafted in our own greenhouses, and these vines were planted towards the end of summer. In 2001, the 8 acre reservoir was completed. It is our source of irrigation water and a new home for some rainbow trout. Rainbow trout require the purest water and since the reservoir sits at the lowest point on the property, we consider their thriving population as a testament to our farming methods.

Delara Pinot Noir
"Delara" is a Persian word that translates as, "captures one's heart." This wine does just that. Made exclusively from the vines of our lower 13-acre block, Delara's rich, ruby-garnet color is the backdrop for aromas of coffee, cocoa, pomegranates and blackberries. Enormous layers of bittersweet chocolate, coffee, earth and black fruit flavors are balanced by lush, round, fine-grained tannins on the palate. This wine is rich, powerful and complex and has found a home in the hearts of the best establishments in the country.

Estate Cuvee Pinot Noir
The solid, deep ruby color of this Pommard-clone Pinot are paired with the intense aromas of black fruit and cocoa. Vibrant acidity, solid middle palate and soft, middle-grain tannins are finished by long, persistent black cherry and bittersweet chocolate flavors.

Pinot Gris
This wine exhibits light, golden straw color and complex aromas of honey, ripe melon, pear, and mineral. Round, rich flavors of pear and melon balance a long finish with excellent texture and ripe citrus flavors. Slightly less sweet than the previous vintage, this Pinot Gris exemplifies a great balance of richness and acidity pairing perfectly with a variety of edibles. The soft, round residual sugars of this wine further complements dishes with a hint of heat or can be enjoyed as an aperitif.

Pinot Gris

Aromas of currant, black cherry and a slight smoky bouquet are complimented by the rich, intense color of this superb Dijon clone Pinot Noir. A bursting rush of currant, blackberries and black cherry are balanced with lush, lingering tannins and finishing flavors of bitter chocolate and pomegranates.

Williamette Reserve Pinot Noir
Aromas of currant, black cherry and a slight smoky bouquet accent the soft garnet color of this superb Dijon clone Pinot Noir. A bursting rush of currant and cherry are balanced with small-grain tannins and flavors of bitter chocolate and pomegranates.
