Cooper Ridge is a family-owned vineyard and winery that focuses on small production, premium wines. In 2008, Robin and Lesa Ray established their 12 acre vineyard with the goal of producing premium wines. The Umpqua Valley’s warm days and cool nights, along with canopy and crop thinning, assists in fruit being picked at optimum ripeness and concentration. During harvest, grapes are carefully hand-picked and processed to produce 3,000 cases of wine annually.
Perched 150 feet above the North Umpqua River, the Tasting Room, Guest House and Winery offers extraordinary panoramic vistas. “Come for the Wine, Stay for the View” is what visitors experience while sipping wine underneath the large umbrellas on the outdoor decks. May of 2015, celebrated the opening of the Tasting Room and in a very short time Cooper Ridge has become a much sought after tourist destination.
Wine is life, part of nature and this is the vision that guides us in both the vineyard and winery as we craft wines at Cooper Ridge. Wines from our vineyards are made to share in life’s moments with your friends and family.
