Pudding River Wine Cellars

Pudding River Wine Cellars Located in the heart of the east Willamette Valley, Pudding River Wine Cellars is a family operated vineyard and winery producing small-lot, boutique styled wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Viognier, and Riesling. In its two years of commercial operation Pudding River has been recognized by Wine Spectator for its Barrel Fermented Chardonnay and its Reserve Pinot Noir, by the Oregon State Fair for its Pinot Gris (a gold medal winner), by the Northwest Wine Competition for its Estate and Reserve Pinot Noirs, and has twice been invited to the Portland Indie Wine Festival. We specialize in producing three styles of Oregon chardonnay; a traditional barrel-fermented style, a tank-fermented style (un-oaked), and a neutral barrel reserve style. We plan to release our Reserve Chardonnay in the Fall of 2010.

  W.V. Reserve Pinot Noir
2006 W.V. RESERVE PINOT NOIR TASTING NOTES: Opens with aromas of violets and black cherries paired with a smoky toast background that leads to flavors of plum and black fruit through the mid-palate. Balanced acidity with a core of soft tannins, the flavors linger on the palate with a long supple finish.
  W.V. Riesling
Aromas of citrus blossoms and apricot extend to flavors of green apple and lychee. The bright flavors intertwine with a refreshing acidity that finishes with a hint of honey sweetness.
