Tenba Ridge Winery

The Tenba Ridge Winery is nestled in the rugged hills of Trempealeau County, in a part of Wisconsin left untouched and unchanged by the last glaciers to cover parts of North America. Visitors are at once calmed, yet energized, by drinking in the views of hills and valleys visible from the wine terrace. Tenba Ridge Winery is very small, carved out of the lower level of the family home, reminiscent of the small family wineries found in Europe. Production is small, providing wine for family and friends and a few hundred cases for sale to visitors that take the effort to seek out the winery. Batches are small, using ancient recipes for producing 3 or 5 or 6 gallons of wine at a time. This artisanal approach to wine production results in a wine that is so rich and so lush and so willing to please that one's own sense of gracious living rises with each sip.
