Van der Heyden Vineyards & Winery

Van der Heyden Vineyards & Winery Van Der Heyden Vineyards is a family owned winery nestled in the beautiful, world famous Napa Valley wine growing region. We are located on the charming and prestigious Silverado Trail just south of the Stags Leap District. Wine enthusiasts will truly appreciate us since we specialize in Estate Bottled Chardonnay Wines, Cabernet Sauvignon and Late Harvest Desert Wines. The Van Der Heyden name and subsequent reputation has become world renowned because we are the only winery in the world that produces a Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon. Casual wine lovers and tourists visiting the Wine Country will be delighted to find a personal, quaint wine tasting experience. You might just become one of our hard-core wine lovers after sampling our wines! We look forward to sharing our family history and passion of wine-making with you!

Products

  Estate Bottled Merlot
This Estate Merlot from our vineyard, 1500 feet above the valley floor, is full bodied, with flavors of blackberries, cherries, and the complexity of many cabernets. This wine very drinkable today, yet with the strength to be aged for 5-7 years.
Napa Estate Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon
We are pleased to offer our latest Late Harvest Cabernet. This incredible dessert wine filled with flavors of black berry, black cherry and some chocolate in the after taste. Aged in French Oak for 34 months
  Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Our cabernets are aged for 40 months in French Oak. We use newer and older oak for part of the aging so that the sharp fruit tannins have a chance to soften allowing you to enjoy the wine now. There is just enough newer oak and oak tannins so that if you like, lay it down for a few years to enjoy it later.
  Napa Valley Estate Chardonnay
A fruity wine with hints of tropical fruit flavors. We leave the fruit on the skins for 24 hours after the crush. By doing this, we obtain flavors from the grapes that makes our Chardonnay unique.
  Napa Valley Petit Verdot
