Vignoble la Bauge
|
|
Located on the south side of the Appalachian foothills. The winery sits on a rocky crest covered with a silt-sand deposit, a remnant of the glacier period, on land that was once the Champlain Sea. This accounts for the density, the depth and the aroma of their wine. Alcide Naud was working the land as a farm which he had owned from 1951. In 1981 he planted his first vineyard. The name in English is boar's den.
