Stoller Vineyard & Winery

Stoller Vineyard & Winery Although we planted our first vines just nine years ago, this project has been a lifetime in the making. This farmland is where I grew up as a child, so planting a vineyard here feels like something of a homecoming for my family and me. Stoller Vineyards is a 373-acre parcel located on the southern slopes of the Dundee Hills. This particular knoll is known fondly as “Corton Hill” by local winegrowers, referencing its similarity to the famed wraparound hillside in Burgundy. The farmland was purchased by my father and uncle in the 1940s, and was primarily used to raise turkeys and cereal grains such as wheat, barley, and oats for feeding the turkeys.

  Stoller Vineyards Estate Chardonnay
Another great vintage for Oregon! Early September rains put many winemakers on the edge of their seats. The gamble was worth it though; the rest of the harvest period offered great weather for finishing up the ripening of the grapes.
  Stoller Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir
The '03 harvest was the earliest on record for our vineyard, with various vineyard blocks achieving ripeness almost simultaneously, it seemed. Would we have liked a more drawn out, leisurely harvest similar to that of 2002? Of course. But up here in the Pacific Northwest, that wish comes in a distant second to the prayer for a dry harvest. We don't curse mother nature, as long as she keeps the rain out of our way while we are picking. Tech sheet
  Stoller Vineyards JV Pinot Noir
Young vine selection from our Estate vineyards, harvest spanned mid September through mid October. This wine was crafted to be friendly, fruit forward and approachable. Ripe cherry on the nose, red fruits with integrated oak on the palate, and a spicy finish.
