Welcome to Dobra Zemlja Winery
Dobra Zemlja (pronounced: dobra zem-ya) means "Good Earth" in Croatian. The winery was founded in 1995 by Milan and Victoria E. Matulich. The winery is situated in Amador County's historic Shenandoah Valley just off of Hwy 49 and Hwy 16. The wine-making facility and tasting room are housed in a restored late 1800's barn, complete with man-made cave. This unique facility provides the perfect environment for making and tasting our wines.

Latrobe Road ends at Hwy 16. Turn left.
After about 2 miles, Hwy 16 ends and becomes Hwy 49. There will be two intersections. Continue forward, do not turn right. Follow the signs to Plymouth.
