Vale Winery is located at the University of Idaho Food and Wine Technology Center, 1904 E. Chicago Street, Suites F & G in Caldwell, Idaho. Our location allows us to have a state of the art wine making facility and offers us many opportunities to collaborate with scientists and educators from the University of Idaho, other local colleges, and fellow winemakers also located on the wine campus.
Our winery is available for group tours and events, and our lobby is a great place to bring a small group to learn about winemaking, the Snake River Valley AVA, and to taste our Vale wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep and Complex.. You will find many layers of flavors and aromas.This wine displays many typical Cabernet characteristics with smooth tannins and lots of Black Cherry and Blackberry flavors. Hints of Toasty Oak and a touch of slate dust in the long finish.

Chardonnay
Enjoy the rich aromas of apples and pears, a light silky texture with hints of oak and a mouth watering finish as you sip this 2010 Chardonnay.

A delicious and complex medium bodied wine with deep cherry and plum flavors, and hints of spice.

Firm, yet smooth tannins create a pleasant mouth filling structure, while dark cherry and blackberry fruit flavors combine with hints of smoke, vanilla and spice to produce a red wine light enough for every day enjoyment, yet bold enough to accompany your summer barbecue entrees.

Crisp apple and sweet pear aromas dominate the nose of this refreshing, medium sweet patio sipper.
