An immense wine made in the tradition of old world vintners from the last century - Albarello is a field blend consisting of Zin (40%) and Petite Sirah (40%) with smaller amounts of Carignane, Barbera, Alicante-Bouschet and Early Burgundy, and a tiny (less than .5%) of white grapes.

A medium bodied wine from vineyards planted in the 1930's. This savory wine pairs well with herb crusted lamb, pepper steak, tandoori chicken, or sautéed duck with porcini mushrooms and onion. 13.4% alcohol. 514 cases produced.

Charbono Mendocino
A medium bodied wine with a dark opaque purple color - 100% Charbono aged in French oak. 2004 was a great vintage and this unique berry packed wine proves it - powerful and bold - will pair nicely with gamy meats and sharp, aged cheeses like Parmiggiano.

A thick chewy full bodied, rich wine that is opaque/purple in color and has a black cherry fruit and allspice nose. Drink now or better yet, cellar this wine for a decade. 14.5% alcohol. 125 cases produced.

A full bodied wine at Workingman's prices. A terroir driven tour de force that has a dried red cherry nose and a completely dry finish. Petite Sirah Mendocino
A varietal we haven't produced in ten years. This P.S. is a fruit filled blackberry and raspberry phenomenon, a concentrated behemoth, expertly balanced with a chalky mouth filling tannic finish that lasts - this wine is serious and will only get better for at least 1 or 2 decades.

Pinot Noir Sonoma Mountain
Full bodied. A surreal cocktail of pomegranate and cherry cola, heightened acidity and extravagant alcohol remain tenuously in balance with the wine's sweetness - which makes the dry finish something of a shock.

Primitivo Mendocino
Primitivo is the Italian cousin of zinfandel - a rich wine with a ripe middle of raspberry and blackberry fruit tar, good structure, with a nice finish. Try it with cioppino, "Zuppa di Pesca", New Orleans gumbo, or well aged cheeses.
