We believe that a truly great wine comes only from a truly great vineyard, and we are confident that our mix of soils, climate, grape varieties, viticulture, personal commitment, and a bit of magic will be the right formula. Directions
From Route 70, take Exit 68, Route 27 North. Follow Route 27 for 9 miles to a left onto Route 26 West in Taylorsville. Proceed 4 miles to a left onto Unionville Road. Follow Unionville Road for one mile to a left onto Black Ankle Road. We are a half-mile up on the right (14463 Black Ankle Road).

Albariño
This crisp, aromatic wine bursts with delicious notes of pear, peach, and zest of lime on the front of the palate. It is followed by flavors of citrus, apricot, black licorice, and almond, all framed with a wonderfully bright acidity.

Bedlam
The 2007 Bedlam boasts a vibrant nose of spring flowers, Asian pears and lemon-lime. On the palate the wine displays ripeness, viscosity, a smooth texture and substantial depth and concentration. Winner of the 2008 Maryland Winemasters' Choice Award

Chardonnay
A ripe, classically built Chardonnay with hints of lemon and pear on the nose. A full body reveals a smooth wine with excellent weight on the palate and a long, minerally finish.

Cosecha
The 2006 Cosecha is a medium-bodied, ruby-colored wine with hints of raspberries and red currants on the nose. On the palate, the wine shows notes of leather, minerals, and vanilla which complement its smooth tannins.

Crumbling Rock
The deep ruby color of the 2006 Crumbling Rock is accompanied by a sweet, complex nose of intense black fruits, crushed rocks, graphite, dried mushrooms and a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied and viscous on the palate, the wine shows plush tannins balanced with an acidic backbone and a rich mouthfeel. This well structured wine is built to improve for many years in the bottle. Grüner Veltliner
Subtle notes of white pepper and wheat grass on the nose are followed by classic flavors of pepper, pink grapefruit, and minerality followed by a long silky finish.

Passeggiata
The 2006 Passeggiata is a light to medium bodied wine, with a translucent ruby color and hints of raspberries and butterscotch on the nose. This wine dances across the palate with notes of vanilla, red fruits and exotic spices.

Syrah
The dark ruby colored 2006 Syrah has aromas of white pepper, cinnamon, and tapenade, with notes of vanilla. The smooth, sweet, silky tannins frame the abundant red fruits and give way to a long, spicy finish.

Viognier
The 2007 Viognier offers up aromas of honeysuckle, minerals, and tropical fruit. This full-bodied wine has a very smooth texture with ripe acidity to create a harmonious balance.
