Dillian Wines

Dillian Wines Please come and enjoy a taste of Shenandoah Valley, the rural farming community that the Dillian’s have enjoyed for five generations. Tom Dillian continues to share the passion for farming that his great grandfather, Alessio Dal Porto had when he first purchased the ranch in 1917. Our winery sits on the former site of Tom’s family home, where you can enjoy the shade of eighty year old walnut trees grafted by Tom’s grandfather. There is always time to sit on the front lawn and enjoy the old-fashion gardens while you taste our wines in the peaceful country air. We are a small, family owned and operated business. We specialize in quality red wines including Barbera, Zinfandel and Syrah, made from the fruit of our vineyards. Tom, La Vonne or Thomas will be working the tasting room on the weekends and caring for the vines during the week.

Products

  Barbera
An Amador classic. Aromas of black cherries, cola and vanilla. Fresh and bright flavors of cherry with hints of cocoa.
  Orange Muscat
A delightful dessert wine that is refreshingly not syrupy, and displays pleasantly crisp acidity. Exhibits flavors and aromas of green apple, pear and butterscotch.
  Sauvignon Blanc
Crisp and refreshing with aromas and flavors of passion fruit, white peach, and ruby-red grapefruit.
  Syrah
Luscious and classy with inky, intense color. The nose shows similarities to fresh baked blackberry pie with graham cracker crust and modest whiffs of toffee. The flavors of blackberry, blueberry, currants and sour cherry candies will please your tongue.
  Zinfandel
Our house specialty. Deep crimson color. Exhibits jammy blackberry, bright cherry and plum aromas and flavors.
