A lovely example of hillside Cabernet. Soft and velvety, this wine opens with aromas of cedar, clove and roasted almonds. Flavors of briar blackberry, wild cherry and hints of toasty oak make this ideal with roast duck and plum sauce.

Strong black raspberry, black cherry, sweet pipe tobacco and black pepper interweave to create an intriguing array of aromas. At entry the wine is surprisingly silky and round, with forward flavors of vanilla, sage, grilled fruit, rosemary, and toasty French oak. The texture is full and rich and the fruit flavors linger.

Intense aromas of fresh plums, accented with spices and cedar. Plenty of red raspberry and subtly woodsy perfume in the background of the aromas. The wine is beautifully balanced, with nicely resolved tannins giving the wine a sweet, silky, fruit-driven finish.

Purple fruits, lots of blackberry/blueberry and deeply ripe plums dominate the aromas of this young wine, bringing forth memories of warm ripe fruit in the orchard. Bright berries cross the palate at entry accented by fresh crisp acidity. The finish is bold and hearty.
