Thomas George Estates produces both barrel fermented and stainless steel fermented chardonnay in order to showcase the varietal’s natural character through light-handed winemaking techniques. Our winemaker works with each chardonnay source to establish the best fermentation process, and only uses barrel fermentation to optimize the characteristics of the grape.

Pinot Noir at Thomas George Estates is made with respect for the natural beauty of the varietal. The grapes are handled with great care and made into wine that expresses their elegance and complexity and which will age gracefully.

Perfumed with candied pineapple and lychee nut, this classic tropical Sauvignon Blanc displays flavors of ruby grapefruit and lemon zest. Brilliant acidity elongates the finish on this single vineyard designate from the hills on the eastern edge of the Russian River Valley.

Our highly aromatic Viognier is bursting with notes of citrus blossom, honeysuckle and jasmine flower. Completely stainless steel fermented, with no malolactic conversion, this dry wine possesses a textured mid-palate reminiscent of banana crème brulee, giving way to a bright and zesty long finish.

Our zinfandels are made in the old-world style with great complexity and balance, full of nuance and spice. In the vineyard we diligently watch the grapes to ensure even ripeness and controlled sugar levels which produce balanced and structured wines.
