Idle Hands Craft Ales

Based in Everett, Massachusetts, Idle Hands Craft Ales is the Boston area’s first “nanobrewery”. While many microbreweries brew 7, 10 or 15 barrels of beer at a time, Idle Hands’ batches are a mere 1.5 barrels. That amount translates to about 20 cases of 12 x 750 ml bottles…so ultimately, not a lot of beer! As the smallest commercial brewery in the Commonwealth, we aim to serve the local Boston market. If you are outside the Boston area, you will not find us at your favorite watering hole, restaurant or beverage store YET - but hang tight, with your support, we hope to grow into your local craft beer market soon.
Idle Hands takes great care in handcrafting our small batch beer with a nod towards belgian styles mixed with new world ideas. We think of ourselves a bit as purists and don’t believe in adding a lot of “extras” into our beers. Our Belgian house yeast, selection of malts, hops and traditional Belgian ingredients are often enough to yield subtle yet complex flavors for your palette.
