2004 C'est Syrah Beaux
Once again this year, Beaux exhibits its telltale aromas of bold, ripe briary black fruit accented by bright, cleanly expressed cedary spiced oak. True to form, this energy is followed up on the palate with flavors of currants, deep cherry richness, and firm acidity that melds nicely with the boldly extracted oak and grape tannins. While not too overly edgy or overblown, this complex wine pairs well with sturdy fare; fruit sauced venison or peppered pork tenderloin.

2004 C'est Syrah Belle
Elegantly understated yet lush in its aromas of ripe berries and perfumey dried flowers. Just the right blend of fruity aromas and present but not overpowering sweet oak with a wisp of chocolate. Once in your mouth the wine is supple yet harmonious and refined in its balance of soft, ripe blackberry fruit, nuanced oak sweetness and a lingering plummy tartness. This is the softest, most feminine wine of the group and pairs perfectly with pastas and quiche.

2004 Sangiovese
Bright and lively fruit defines the aromas of this wine. Fresh strawberry essence extends onto the palate and is just lively enough not to be too tart. Smooth and refreshing with only minimal tannin makes this wine the right compliment to simple summer fare. Try with stuffed grape leaves or phyllo appetizers.
