We presented Mt Hood Winery's first vintage in 2002, after several years of nurturing wine grapes in the Hood River Valley. We personally take part in all our Winery activities. We help pick the grapes, load them, punch them down, make the wine, and sell it. It is a small family winery in an absolutely beautiful region, the Hood River Valley, located in the middle of the Columbia River Gorge, an hour east of Portland.

Mt Hood Winery's Chardonnay
Enjoy Mt. Hood Winery's first Chardonnay. It is a fresh, crisp wine with slight citrus flavors. It was aged in oak for only two months so the fruit shows brightly. It pairs nicely with slightly flavored fish and chicken dishes, or enjoy as an aperitif.

Mt Hood Winery's Merlot
This well balanced Merlot is a feast of blackberry, currant and black pepper notes. The oak barrel aging gives the wine plenty of structure.

Mt Hood Winery's Pinot Gris
Citrus and pineapple flavors are in the forefront of this year’s pinot gris. There is also a hint of green apple tanginess. Chill and serve for the perfect refreshment on a warm summer day.

Mt Hood Winery's Pinot Noir
Soft currant and berry flavors are in the forefront of this elegant award winning wine. Earthiness typical of Oregon Pinot Noirs is overshadowed by fruit. It is wonderful with lamb, softly marinated fish dishes and pasta.
