We are the first and only brew pub in San Marcos, Texas.
Meet our brewer, Robert Brushaber. He has been homebrewing since the 90's, and has graduated from the American Brewers Guild with a Craft Brewers Apprenticeship (CBA) in 2010. He apprenticed at the Real Ale Brewery in Blanco, and began brewing at the Root Cellar in 2012. The house beers brewed by Robert are Alison’s Ale, Cream Steam, Santa Fe Stout, and a Gluten Free IPA.
