We have always loved wine, and over the years, our passion has led us to have many conversations of realizing our dreams of a winery.
Celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary, that dream started to become a reality!
At the time, we were oblivious of the immense amount of work and dedication necessary to make our dream a reality but more importantly…we were also eager, willing, able and ecstatic to give it a try!
The next steps to making that dream a reality was realizing the first wine maker’s name that came to mind for guidance were long time wine makers Larry and Birgit Ludvig of Pleasant Hill Cellars. We had been members of their wine club for years and with Larry’s award winning wines and business model we couldn’t go wrong. Larry and Birgit graciously took us under their wings and have been guiding us with immense support. We are so blessed to have them now as our friends and mentors in this amazing journey.
Cherry Valley Winery sits on 4.2 beautiful acres in the intimate, quaint town of Duvall, WA. Our first crush was fall of 2014 with the first 3 wines bottled late winter of 2015.
