The Pioneering Spirit tapped us on our shoulders and whispered in our hearts to begin again that which was long gone, but not forgotten. The original distillery had fallen into ruin after Prohibition and was the only piece of history missing here at the farm. Both Joe and I wanted to resurrect the true “spirit” of the place- the whiskey, my family’s “liquid gold”. The laws in Ohio changed, allowing Distilleries to be operated once again, so we saw an opportunity and took a risk, knowing that the biggest risk was to do nothing at all.

Chardonnay
Offers aromas of fresh pear, peach, apple, and lemon. Just the right amount of rich Oak texture. Enhancing a smooth, rich and creamy fruit flavors that persist into a long flavorful aftertaste.

Glacier White
If you could bottle summertime, this is what it would taste like!! Light, refreshing and clean with the color of pale gold sunlight and a nose of fruit. The body is crisp yet bursting with summer fruits that lap over with soft acidity. Sumptuous to sip on its own, or paired with a cooled fruit salad and a pool.

Jazzy Blush White Zinfandel
A delicate and Refreshing blush that is delightfully on your palate, light creaminess surrenders to a refreshing crisp finish of strawberries and melon.

Merlot
Dark in color. This medium-bodied Merlot reveals a fresh, black cherry aroma, with hints of tobacco and herbal spice flavors. Barrel aged with a smooth texture and moderate tannins, excellent structure, and a long, rich finish.

Riesling
This light refreshing wine offers sweet hints of luscious varietal characters including apple, spice, pear, white peach and melon. Gentle pressing and handling of the grapes, combined with a long fermentation, allows the wine to express its natural ripe fruit flavors. Apple, Spice, Pear, Peach, Medium-bodied.

Road House Red
Dark red color, semi-sweet rich grapy aromas characterize this wine. Soft, round, juicy berries and a full, rich texture. Excellent accompaniment to picnic or barbecue always a hit.

Sunset Red
Dark red color, semi-sweet Merlot, bold aromas characterize this wine. Soft, round, juicy cherry and berry aroma form structure and a full, rich texture. Serve chilled. Excellent accompaniment for tomato-based pastas
