2004 Cabernet Franc
Our original intention was to use the Cab Franc as a blending grape, but as it developed in the barrel we fell in love with the plum, cherry and hints of spice complimented by the delicate tannins and soft mouth feel. We couldn't let it disappear into another wine. SOLD OUT

Merlot
Fruit, fruit and fruit, our Merlot is like berry cobbler in a glass. Bright berry aromas are followed by cooked cherries, blackberry and a hint of raspberry on the tongue. Balanced acids give the wine a solid mouth feel and a smooth finish.
|
Sangiovese
The winemaker's personal favorite. Inspired by the Super Tuscans, we blended our Sangiovese with 22% Cabernet Sauvignon. Toasted vanilla, cherry and licorice give way to hints of spice, mineral and an earthy finish. Crisp but well balanced acidity makes this an excellent pairing with a pasta Bolognese, Bistecca Fiorentina or even wild boar.
|
Sauvignon Blanc
Just in time for the warm days of summer, we are proud to release our first white wine. Our Red Mountain Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and balanced with flavors of apple, grapefruit and hints of peach and is the perfect accompaniment to sitting in the sun enjoying a bowl of freshly cracked crab.

Solea
What is Solea? The short version is it's a song from Miles Davis' "Sketches of Spain". Solea is also the root of the flamenco, and this wine dances. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec, all from Washington's prized Red Mountain, the Solea is deep enough to drink with a peppercorn steak, friendly enough to drink with a burger, and simply delicious enough to drink all on its own.

Syrah
Blending grapes from vineyards of different climates, the Syrah is a delicious and well-rounded wine. The warmer Alderdale vineyard brings notes of dark cherry and cassis while the cooler Mattawa vineyard adds traces of blackberry. The addition of 25% Cabernet Sauvignon adds weight and a robust mouth feel.
