Toulouse Vineyards and Winery

Vern and Maxine Boltz's path to Anderson Valley and evoltion as wine producers was a journey taken after completing successful careers as an Oakland Fire Captain and a United Airline Flight Attendant.
Our research and travel led us to the beautiful Anderson Valley, where we found a 160 acre ranch, adjacent to Scharffenberger Cellars. We cleared the land, prepared the site and planted 17 acres of Pinot Noir - creating Toulouse Vineyard. We named the vineyard after the " Toulouse Goose," which is a huge blocky Goose, that can weigh more than 35 pounds!
