  Luna Canto
Full ruby-red. Very primary aromas of black cherry, blackberry, licorice, chocolate, tar and game. Very intensely flavored, with juicy acids giving the berry, cherry, tobacco, leather and chocolate flavors lovely definition and inner-mouth aromatic character. Finishes firmly tannic and very long. This has delivered on its early promise. 92 points” Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar, May/June 2004
  Luna Canto
...Roasted aromas of crystallized black raspberry and tar. Finishes with substantial tongue-dusting tannins and excellent persistence. 89-92 pts Stephen Tanzer Int'l Wine Cellar, May/June 2002
  Luna FREAKOUT
Luna has released this as Reserve White Wine years past, but it has always been known as “FREAKOUT” at the winery. When other winemakers stopped by to try the wines, they literally “freaked out” because the wine was made in such an unusual fashion. Some of the grapes are fermented on the skins like a red wine would be handled. FREAKOUT was inspired by cult winemakers in Fruili, Italy who blend juice from diverse grapes.
  Luna Merlot
Wonderful balance and harmony, with ripe, vivid blackberry, black cherry and currant flavors that are both rich and fleshy yet firm and ructured. On the finish, it picks up a touch of cedar and herb before the fruit cascades across the palate. Drink now through 2010. 91 points - WINE SPECTATOR 12/05.
Luna Mille Baci Dessert Wine 2000
High-toned aromas of dried apricot, game and flowers... The wine’s healthy acids and Pinot Grigio tannins give it a firm shape and an impression of freshness. 92 pts Stephen Tanzer’s Int’l Wine Cellar, May/June 2002
  Luna Mini Canto
This 2002 Mini Canto was originally a wine club shipment in July 2005 and only 300 cases were produced. All of the fruit was culled from premier Napa Valley vineyards and meticulously blended by our winemaking team over a series of months for a wine that captures the essence of a renowned winemaking tradition.
Luna Petite Sirah Zinfandel Blend 2001
In celebration of a brand new year, Luna is proud to present a very special blend – an intriguing combination of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel that exhibits the finest characteristics of each varietal. This is a distinctly American wine, made from field blends of vines from European immigrants that have flourished in our local climate.
  Luna Pinot Grigio
Honeysuckle and mineral greet the nose, with hints of warm spice and a bottom note of freshly baked bread. The flavors recall ripe peaches and star fruit, while the mid-palate is reminiscent of creme brulee and toasted pine nuts. A smooth framework of acidity supports the wine and keeps it crisp throughout, resolving into a long and satisfying finish.
  Luna Pinot Grigio
All of the Pinot Grigio was picked by hand and pressed whole cluster. The juice was settled for 24 hours before being racked and taken directly to French Oak barrels. Native fermentation occurred after 7 days. On average the Pinot Grigio fermented 27 days. The wine was stirred every 2 weeks to encourage malolactic fermentation. After 7 months in barrel the wine was blended and bottled in April.
  Luna Sangiovese
The nose on the 2002 Sangiovese is redolent with cedar, red cherry and warm earth to match its deep ruby color. The wine is bright on the tongue, with a medium body that reveals delicate hints of Santa Rosa plum. Chalky tannins create a plush mouthfeel. The finish is long and persistent, evoking tobacco, tea leaves and pomegranate. This is an elegant, refined wine that would pair nicely with cheeses such as Vella of Sonoma's dry Jack Reserve and roasted fall vegetables.
  Luna Sangiovese
The lush finish features thoroughly melted tannins. On day two, this showed more of a jammy fruit quality and some obvious oakiness, but 24 hours later it was once again vibrant and fresh, with a flavor of blackberry. As always, a superb California version of sangiovese. 91 points. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jan/Feb 06
  Luna Sangiovese Riserva
Luna Vineyards is proud to present our 2003 Reserve Sangiovese, a result of Luna’s continuing quest to create Napa Valley wines of distinction. Our commitment to handcrafted quality begins with choice vineyard sites and meticulous fruit selection, and extends to the cellar, where we exercise attention and precision in every aspect of the winemaking process.
  Luna Tocai Friulano
100% Tocai Friulano from the Vista Verde Vineyard near Monterey. Luna is one of a handful of producers outside of Italy making a varietal Tocai Friulano. Aromas of ripe guava and mango with bursting acidity on the palate. Perfect with oysters or prosciutto!
