  Fralich Vineyard Syrah
The 2000 Fralich Vineyard Syrah was harvested at full maturity, fermented warm and barrel aged in French Oak barrels (50% new) for fifteen months before bottling. 153 cases produced.
  Paso Robles Syrah
Our 2002 Paso Robles Syrah is a blend of two west side vineyards. The Dove Pond Vineyard owned and farmed by CriCri and Rich Eastin is located in the middle of the Templeton Gap on the Hwy 46 Corridor. The soils are comprised of broken shale and clay and produce a wine of depth and minerality. The Millbrook Vineyard was planted on the far western reaches of the Paso Robles appellation and contributes finesse and elegance to the blend. Our 2002 Syrah is showing luscious dark berried fruit, should be served at room temperature and enjoyed with well-spiced game and red meat dishes.
  Rousse Rouge
The 2000 Rousse Rouge, a blend of Syrah (82%), Cabernet Sauvignon (8%), Zinfandel (8%) and Viognier (2%) was aged separately for five months before blending, then an additional 10 months in French Oak barrels (40% new) before bottling. 220 cases produced.
  Rousse Rouge Syrah
The 2002 Rousse Rouge Syrah is a blend of 5% Grenache, 10% Zinfandel from the Reed Family Vineyard and 85% Syrah from the Dove Pond and Millbrook Vineyards. This unique blend of old world and new world varieties makes a fun and spirited blend that boasts flavors of cherry cola, anise, currants and red berries. This wine should be served at room temperature or slightly chilled and enjoyed with well-spiced meat and poultry dishes.
  Sibling Viognier
Our 2003 Viognier was hand harvested from the Fralich Vineyard (62%) and the Chequera Vineyard (38%). The Fralich Vineyard gives the wine its intense floral and dried apricot aroma while the Chequera Vineyard contributes the depth and structure of the wine. This wine should be served chilled and is excellent by itself as an aperitif or with Asian fusion cuisine. Sushi!
  Ward Pinot Noir
I know what you are saying, Contra Costa Pinot Noir! I thought they only made good Zinfandel in Contra Costa? Well, the Ward vineyard in Contra Costa is located in Lafayette, which is in the western portion of the county and the vines are planted on a south western facing slope just above the fog line. Because of the steep hillside, there are no tractors used to farm it. It is hand farmed by owner Jim Ward himself.
