Sleeping Dog Wines

Sleeping Dog Wines Sleeping Dog Wines had our first commercial crush in 2002 after years of experimentation, aided and abetted by the good graces of our friends. Wines are made from lots chosen during daily walks in the neighboring vineyards with the poster child canine as the grapes mature. Our wines are generally harvested later than "normal", reflecting our origins in gleaning from the harvest leftovers, and result in strong fruit flavors. We make a Merlot, blended with small amounts of Malbec, a Syrah, and a Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc that has tropical fruits with light spice from low percentages of Gewürztraminer.
