Tassel Ridge Winery Coming to Tassel Ridge Winery is more than just a visit. Experience an adventure in winemaking as your tour guide highlights the steps from vine to bottle. Look down from our visitors' gallery into our wine cellar and see our skilled winemakers as they craft one-of-a-kind wines. Finally, indulge your palate as you enjoy complimentary samples of our wines. Visit the Tassel Ridge Winery during our business hours, or a tour can be set up by phone. Noon-6 Fri., 10-6 Sat., Noon-6 Sun.

Directions
Tassel Ridge Winery is easy to find. It is just south of State Highway 163 on 220th Street in Leighton. From Ottumwa and Oskaloosa, drive northwest on 163 to 220th Street and turn left towards Leighton. From Des Moines and Pella, turn right at 220th Street. Drive west on 220th about 0.7 miles from the Highway and right into the Tassel Ridge Winery parking lot.

  Blackberry Wine
Blackberry Wine is brimming with mellow berry flavors reminiscent of old fashion blackberry jam. Pair it with cheesecake and fruity desserts. Serve Blackberry Wine as dessert or just sip it when you are in the mood for something delightful and fruity. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
  Finalé Premier Red
Finalé Premier Red is a dessert wine with jammy flavors that complement dark chocolate, salted cashew nuts, and blue cheese. Serve Finalé Premier Red at room temperature.
  In the Dark
In the Dark is a big, full-bodied, dry red wine with hints of cherry, plum, and white pepper. Made from St. Croix grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards, Syrah, and Marechal Foch grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards, In the Dark pairs well with beef and other full-flavored meats. Serve at room temperature.
  Iowa Nouveau
Iowa Nouveau, a light and fruity red wine, is our first wine of the season. Made entirely from grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards, Iowa Nouveau pairs well with vegetable and beef soups and stews as well as traditional holiday meals. 2011 Iowa Nouveau is best when consumed soon after purchase. Serve slightly chilled.
  Prelude
Prelude is a semi-sweet white wine with citrus, pear, nectarine, banana, and tropical fruit notes. Made from St. Pepin grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards and Muscat grapes, pair Prelude with salad, serve it as an aperitif, or sip it on a warm afternoon. Serve chilled.
  Red, White,& Blue®
Red, White, & Blue® is a traditional, sweet Concord blend with strong grape flavors reminiscent of grape jelly. It pairs well with Asian and other spicy foods. Red, White, & Blue is an outstanding sipping wine that is best served chilled.
  Tickled Pink
Tickled Pink is a refreshing, semi-sweet rosé with strawberry, plum, and red currant notes on the nose and strawberry, citrus, plum, spice, and red currant on the palate. Made from Zinfandel grapes, it pairs well with a variety of foods. Try Tickled Pink with tacos, enchiladas, barbecued wings, sweet and sour pork, hamburgers, hot dogs, mild cheese, and more! Serve chilled.
