Originally opening on Derby Day in 1935 and reopening to the public in 2014, the historic Stitzel-Weller Distillery is one of the true cathedrals of the American whiskey industry.
Located only five miles from downtown Louisville, the Stitzel-Weller Distillery Experience is one of the most convenient and impressive stops along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. Directions
From Downtown Louisville: Take I-64 West towards St. Louis. Veer left, taking Exit 1 for I-264 East towards Shively. Take Exit 5 for Cane Run Road.
At the bottom of the exit, take a left onto Ralph Avenue. Follow Ralph Avenue for about a mile until you reach Fitzgerald Road.
Make a left onto Fitzgerald Road. Stitzel-Weller is on your left. Enjoy!
From the Louisville International Airport: Take I-264 West towards Shively. Take Exit 5 for Cane Run Road. At the bottom of the exit, take a right onto Cane Run Road. At the first light, take a right onto Ralph Avenue. Follow Ralph Avenue for about a mile until you reach Fitzgerald Road. Make a left onto Fitzgerald Road. Stitzel-Weller is on your left. Enjoy!
