Schadé Vineyard is the third bonded farm winery in South Dakota. The winery is owned and operated by Jim and Nancy Schade at Volga, South Dakota. Their goal is to produce a wine that is made exclusively from South Dakota grown products. Currently seven flavors of wines are produced periodically throughout the year. These consist of Plum, Chokecherry, Rhubarb, Beet, Raspberry-Apple, Oakwood Red and Mead.

CHOKECHERRY
A medium bodied wine with a crisp bold taste and a classic red color. Pastas with red sauces, barbecued ribs and pork. Pot roasts, beef stews and hot dishes.

MEAD
A wine with a subtle bouquet and a lite body with soft floral notes and a bold finish.

OAKWOOD RED
An aromatic red wine with a zesty finish. Excellent with red meats, hearty pastas, game birds or enjoy it by itself.

PLUM
A wine with a lite fruity bouquet and taste. Excellent with sharp cheeses, salads, pastas with white sauces. Also very complimentary with pork and poultry.

RASPBERRY-APPLE
A fresh fruity bouquet with a smooth lite finish. Excellent with salads especially pasta and fruit or lite cheeses.

RHUBARB
A wine featuring earthy tones and a distinct rhubarb taste, mellow of body and smooth of finish. Excellent with main dishes featuring pork or poultry. Try also with lite cheeses and fish.
