In 2001, Harold Faircloth III and Timothy Danahy,successful micro-brewers with more than twenty years experience and ten’s of thousands of barrels created between them, founded Green Mountain Distillers. Armed with well honed brewing and distilling techniques, the duo set out to create ultrapremium spirits in their state of the art distillery in Stowe, Vermont. The emphasis on superior ingredients is underscored with a time honored, and time consuming, made by hand process. Green Mountain Distillers infuses its products with a quality and character that sets them on the cutting edge of the newest and strongest trend in the distillation industry. American Distiller Magazine stated that 10 years ago only 15 craft distillers produced in the United
States; today well over 60 craft or boutique distilleries deliver to an ever-growing demand. Green Mountain Distillers is happy to be positioned at the forefront of this movement.
