Bellbrook Brewing Company is Bellbrook, Ohio's first privately owned brewery established in August 2022 located in the heart of downtown Bellbrook. Our unique brewpub is housed in the historical Sugarcreek Township House that was established in 1885 and commenced the first ever graduating class of Bellbrook High School in 1886. The rich local history permeants throughout the building dating back to the late 1800's that included a special visit from famous prohibitionist Carry Nation who delivered one of her temperance lectures. According to the Bellbrook Moon, the speech did not go over well with the Bellbrook community. How ironic! The building provided musical events and plays via a stage that now serves as the restrooms. The loft area in the tap room was a meeting location for city council as well as local community voting. The block building in the rear that now serves as our brew room was constructed in 1961 and housed the only township ambulance. Hidden amongst the attic spaces constructed by historic mortise and tenon beams are remnants of the Police department evidence rooms. Little Miami Handworks purchased the building in late 2000's and provided traditional woodshop courses. The craftsmanship can be visible from the hand planed and finished ash flooring throughout building. We look forward to sharing our unique environment with everyone who has a passion for craft beers, gathering with friends, family and the local community.
